    Under the ‘Yuva Sangam’ program, students from Central University of Punjab who reached Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi, came today to visit Raj Bhavan, Ranchi.

    While talking to the representatives, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Nitin Kulkarni said that this is the third group to come to Raj Bhavan, Ranchi under Yuva Sangam. First, students came from Jammu and Kashmir, then from Haryana and today you people have come. He said that about 27% of the population in Jharkhand is tribal. More than 33 percent of the geographical area of ​​​​Jharkhand is covered with forests and trees. This state is full of mineral wealth, about 40% of the mineral wealth of the country is present here. There is a huge reserve of coal here. He said that many great freedom fighters including Lord Birsa Munda lived here.

    On the said occasion, the students said in the course of conversation that they had seen a lot about this place on social media. But after coming here, they got to see a lot directly. They considered the state of Jharkhand to be famous only for Tata, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But there are various social institutions here. This state is full of natural beauty and the tourist places here attract people, which can also create employment. He said that it was very pleasing to see that the people of the tribal community here are educated and are holding various high positions. The state can make further progress in the field of agriculture. The people here are good and well behaved.

    The faculty member of Punjab Central University said that our students are very impressed with the culture here. They came here as ambassadors of Punjab and now they are going as ambassadors of Jharkhand.
