26 June 2024: Hon’ble Governor cum Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand State Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan said that the overall development of all the states is important for the development of the nation. He talked about such holistic development in which the needs of every section and community are met. The Governor was addressing the function organized on the occasion of the 44th Foundation Day celebrations of Birsa Agricultural University today. The Governor said that due to population growth, the requirements of food grains are increasing and agricultural land is decreasing. Agricultural University has an important contribution in fulfilling the food crops. Its remarkable moments should be appreciated. He said that it is a matter of happiness that BEU is also active in meeting the needs of neighboring states. He said that we should try to serve the community at large. Everyone should do their work and be ready to give their full contribution to the society. He said that those who perform better should be encouraged to give better services for the progress of the institute. He congratulated the students for choosing this field and emphasized on better research. He said that all universities should move forward towards Developed India @ 2047 by doing new work.
