Hon’ble Governor Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Shri Champai Soren, Shri Rameshwar Oraon, Shri Satyanand Bhokta, Shri Baidyanath Ram, Shri Deepak Birua, Shri Banna Gupta, Dr. Irfan Ansari, Shri Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Shri Hafijul Hasan, Smt. Baby Devi and Smt. Deepika Pandey Singh as members of the Jharkhand State Council of Ministers at a swearing-in ceremony held at Birsa Mandap in Raj Bhavan today. The Governor extended his best wishes to all the ministers after they took the oath. Earlier, the Chief Secretary read out the warrant of appointment of the Hon’ble Ministers and the Hon’ble Ministers were invited for the oath taking ceremony by the Principal Secretary to the Governor.
Many dignitaries including Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, MPs, MLAs and senior officers of the Indian Administrative Service and Police Service were present at the said oath taking ceremony.
